Yes. We keep all customer order information strictly confidential. All work is performed in the USA at our Baltimore, Maryland headquarters. If desired, please request a formal confidentiality agreement.
3. How can I place an order?
Revolve will begin work on an order once we receive the signed accepted quote, the customer’s plasmid template, and the deposit payment (if applicable). All materials should be sent to:
Revolve Biotechnologies, Inc.
1100 Wicomico Street, Suite 323
Baltimore, MD 21230
4. How should I send the plasmid template?
Please send an aliquot with >200 ng of the plasmid dissolved in water or tris buffer (e.g. 20 uL at 60 ng/uL). Parafilm the tube to prevent evaporation during shipping. The plasmid template can be sent with overnight delivery at room temperature.
5. How long will construction of my library take?
Once all items are received to start work, library construction and QC generally takes less than three weeks. For some difficult templates, a longer time may be required in which case we will inform the customer.
6. What is the deliverable/what will I receive?
The library is delivered as a pooled plasmid DNA mixture in 10 mM Tris-HCl buffer. This should be stored at -20C upon arrival. Individual mutants will be sent as plasmid DNA in seperate microtubes or in 96-well plate format.
7. How do you QC the library?
To pass QC the library must meet the required library size and mutational composition. Library size is determined by quantifying the mass and moles of product plasmid DNA. Mutational composition is determined via DNA sequencing. We have options for sequencing QC using Sanger or NGS methods.
8. What are your payment terms? Can I pay with a credit card?
We currently accept payment via check or wire transfer only. We generally request a 50% deposit to begin work on an order, and the remaining 50% within 30 days after delivery.
9. What are your shipping terms?
Libraries are shipped in the U.S. via Fedex overnight cold shipment. Please inquire about international shipping.
